Active Africa was founded in 2004 in response to a humanitarian emergency. From the beginning we have evolved together with the population of Malawi. We could say that we have walked the journey holding hands with its people..
1) At first, our priority was to cover their most basic needs, to feed their people and, of course, to look after their health.
2) After a while and currently, we are betting on education. We focus on rebuilding schools with all that entails. We directly influence academic improvement through direct support to the best students by financing multiple scholarships.
We are just one more help. During this long journey, we are constantly learning. It is true that, in the beginning, we did not set out to create a charity, we just wanted to do what any human being who had the opportunity to visit Malawi would have done, that is, to give a helping hand to the one who suffers. From that moment everything flowed spontaneously.
A future that we take as a great challenge awaits us, as our students are now entering the working world.
We will continue supporting them but THE FUTURE IS IN THEIR HANDS.
Zikomo kwambiri, Thank you very much.
